Dear Parents and Guardians,

It’s almost time for our annual SBAC and CAST testing! These assessments are a great opportunity for our students to show off all the hard work they’ve put in this year.
We want every student to feel confident and ready to do their best. To help them succeed, please take a moment to review the quick tips below. Thank you for your continued support in making this a positive experience for our kids!

What are these tests?
SBAC (Smarter Balanced): Measures skills in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics for grades 3–8 and 11. Testing window is from 4/14 - 4/24.

CAST (California Science Test): Measures science knowledge for grades 5, 8, and once in high school. Testing window is from 3/30 - 4/6.

Tips for Test Success
💤 Sleep Well: Aim for 8–10 hours of rest. A fresh brain is a sharp brain!

🍳 Eat Breakfast: Fuel up with protein and grains to stay energized all morning.

⏰ Be On Time: Attendance is crucial! Please avoid late arrivals or early pick-ups.

✨ Stay Positive: Remind them to just do their best—we are proud of their hard work!
